The entire plant is engaged in quality
control, with the operators becoming quality inspectors. The metal is checked
superficially for flatness, holes, and discoloration. Spot checks are conducted
throughout the process along with electronic instruments, X-rays and shape roll,
to indicate how thick and flat the metal is at a given point.
Chemical and physical properties are the key to success. A complete range of modern laboratory equipment using the
latest technology ensures quality control over the entire length of aluminium
that passes through the rigorous inspection.
